Francesco Capua, Osteopath

My name is Francesco and I am a passionate Osteopath with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and professional training in Medical Acupuncture.

Combining my knowledge in Osteopathy, Sport and Exercise Science, and Medical Acupuncture, I am able to provide the best care for my patients. I am an evidence-informed practitioner and use a range of treatment modalities such as manual techniques, rehabilitation programmes, and personalised management plans.

My key strengths lie in structural, visceral, cranial and fascial osteopathic approaches, dry needling, and personalised management advice, enabling patients to support their own healing process.

My clinical experience has allowed me to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals suffering from chronic pain and complex issues.

My fundamental aim as a practitioner is to help patients achieve their health goals. This may be to become pain-free, prevent future injuries, or achieve a higher level of health and fitness, by using a combination of Osteopathy, functional exercise, and, where appropriate, Medical Acupuncture.

As a former professional football player, I understand the joy and demands that exercise can place on the body, and I also specialise in treating a variety of sports-related injuries. The approach I take is to consider all aspects of an individual’s lifestyle which may be impacting their health and wellbeing.

I have a holistic approach and consistently aim to restore balance to the whole body, reduce pain, and improve functionality. As an Osteopath, I strongly believe it is important to educate people about how their body works and what small changes can be made to prevent recurring injuries and to optimise health and recovery.

I am also a qualified Level 4 Personal Trainer. My focus is built around making small, sustainable changes in your lifestyle that will have a positive impact on your overall health. From improving sleep quality and moving more throughout the day, to building better relationships with food, small, consistent improvements create remarkable results in both nutrition and training. These changes can have a huge impact on how you look, feel, and function.
